Olive & Ember is more than just a Mediterranean restaurant – it is the next chapter of the Leopold story.

For over 13 years, Leopold has been a recognised name in Singapore's food and beverage scene. Founded by Austrian chef Klaus Leopold, the business has always been built on one simple belief: genuine hospitality, exceptional ingredients, and making every guest feel at home.

Growing up in the heart of Europe, the Mediterranean has always held a special place in Klaus' heart. Its vibrant flavours, long family meals, fresh seafood, handmade pasta, wood-fired pizzas, premium meats and the culture of sharing inspired the creation of Olive & Ember. Every dish reflects this passion, using the freshest ingredients available, from carefully selected seafood and quality steaks to authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas and freshly prepared pasta.

Together with his wife, Aida Leopold, Olive & Ember is run as a true family business in the heart of Club Street. Their hands-on approach creates a warm, personal atmosphere where guests are welcomed like friends rather than customers. It is this personal touch that has made Leopold a trusted destination for so many loyal guests over the years.

Behind Olive & Ember stands the wider Leopold Group, bringing together decades of experience across the hospitality industry. Beyond the restaurant, the group imports and distributes carefully selected European wines through Red Danube, produces its own Leopold Gin and Leopold Whisky, provides catering services for events of all sizes—including functions of more than 300 guests—and offers hospitality consulting through Leopold Consultancy.

Leopold Consultancy supports restaurants, bars, hotels and hospitality businesses with concept development, wine sourcing, supplier networks, branding, marketing strategies and complete F&B project openings. With an extensive international network and years of operational experience, the team helps transform ideas into successful hospitality businesses.

Aida's background in retail and brand development perfectly complements the business. Her eye for design, product presentation and market positioning has helped shape not only the welcoming character of Olive & Ember but also the successful introduction of products and brands into the Singapore market.
